Robert Owens
High Hopes
Originally released only as a test pressing, High Hopes was scheduled to be released on Robert Owens' Musical Direction label in 1997 just before his collaboration with Satoshi Tomiie on the classic House track "I'll Be Your Friend". Family Groove Records has recently discovered/recovered hundreds of hours of audio from Master Tapes belonging to Robert Owens recorded during the Musical Directions era during the Golden Age of House and Rave Music. Picking up from where things fell apart this is the first introduction to previously unreleased music from the Musical Directions era. This version of High Hopes, a previously unreleased alternate mix, has been remastered from the original Master Tape. Limited Edition of 300 copies, Hand-Stamped, 45rpm
